Our 2016/17 production of Jack and the Beanstalk at the Weymouth Pavilion sold more tickets than any other pantomime in the theatre's history and smashed the previous year's Box Office record by nearly 2000 tickets! The show starred LEE REDWOOD in his fourth year at the venue in the role of Dame and GWYNFRYN WEST as the hilarious Simple Simon and featured stunning scenery provided by Qdos Pantomimes and Special Effects & Illusions by The Twins FX.

It was described by press and audience reviews as 'The Best Panto Ever!' - looks like we'll be working hard throughout 2017 to make Sleeping Beauty (2017/18) another record breaker for the Weymouth Pavilion!

During the run we held two very special performances - the venue's very first 'Relaxed Performance' was a huge success and gave hundreds of local children the opportunity to see the show in a more laid-back, comfortable atmosphere.

We also performed our very first 'Muck-Up Matinee' as a special final performance, after the production had officially closed, on 2nd January. This sell-out performance gave the opportunity for audience members to return to see the show again, as the cast and crew played hilarious pranks on each other, leaving the crowd in stitches! We certainly went out with a bang, and will be holding another 'Muck-Up Matinee' performance next Christmas.
